cradle

If you are into product design and care about the environment read Cradle to Cradle. If you think re-cycling is good, you better check this book out for sure. And the answer will likely be much different then you think. This has been a truely eye opening book for me. Highly recommended and inspirational. the tipping pointHow do hypes, epidemics, and things that just really catch on quickly start, why do they take of, and why does everybody want them or participate? This fascinating book give great insight no hypes and why they exist, how they spread. Basically all the ingredients are explained. Extremely well written, very insightful, easy to read....but a lot to soak up. You may find yourself read this book a few times because its that good. The tipping point - Malcolm Gladwell

rich dadFascinating story about a man who had a unique perspective of having two fathers with very different financial mentalities. Both well educated but their created very different financial realities. If you think that getting a good education and a good job is the way forward you may want to think again and read this book. Does our education system teach kids how to create and manage their own finances? Although there is little do this and you'll be rich (which would be non-sense anyway), this book just may get you thinking. Rich dad, poor dad, Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter WikiPedia link Rating: 4 stars

4 hoursThe new rich: Do you think the way to doing the things you really want is to work hard, get promotions and then may be in 20 years retire and do nice things? Then you may want to help yourself out of that illusion and read this great book and become a corporate escape artist too! Many fundamental assumptions we have, like you have to have a lot of money in the bank to afford the thing you want, are not true and Tim proves it. If you are working for a large corporation and are stuck in the rat race and want to get out and live the highlife, this book may be the eye opener you need. Tim Ferris - The four hour work week (blog) 5 star
