I’m Remco Lengers and I live in the Netherlands. This is my personal website, about the things I enjoy and the things I try out at home. I like to keep learning, and a lot of what ends up here comes from that.
Outdoors
Golf takes up a good part of my free time. I’m an avid golfer and I keep working on my game. I also volunteer as ICT manager at my golf club. In winter I like to go skiing.
I enjoy photography, mostly outdoor and sports photography, and I like to travel. You’ll find those topics under Life.
At home
I like home automation. I run Home Assistant together with solar panels, a home battery and a home lab server. I drive an electric car, so charging is part of the same setup. I also enjoy experimenting with AI tools at home. I write about this in Home Lab & Energy.
When I’m not behind a screen, I like to cook on my kamado, a charcoal grill.
Work
I’ve worked in IT for a long time, including at Sun Microsystems, Oracle and Moogsoft, and today I work on IT Operations Management and Autonomous IT at ServiceNow. I’m interested in AI architecture and write about AI and IT under AI & Autonomous IT. Opinions on this site are my own.
